Can you open a third party app (like a game or news app) that isn't already running in the background and let us know if the launch animation runs or whether it still just "pops" on screen like in 4.3 and 4.3.1 ...
I've tried several third party apps; they sort of zoom in onto the screen. Is that what you were looking for?

Don't mean to be a wet blanket, but I didn't care about Apple's market share when it was slipping in the 90s and I don't care about it now that it's climbing. I didn't buy my Mac to be popular and I don't particularly care that lots of people are (or are not) using them. It's just an irrelevant metric to me.
Apple produces very high quality machines and that's always going to ding them (ironically) in terms of market share as people will buy new machines less often and because loads of people aren't picking up bargain Macs at Wal-Mart. I know lots of Windows users and they buy new PCs on average every two years. I buy a new Mac on average every 5 years and most Mac users I know do the same. Market share is just meaningless, even when it's positive news.
Besides, Apple deals in the kind of quality that will keep it around for many, many years, regardless of which way its market share is going and that's all that I care about.
I can say that I predicted Apple would release software to dual boot an Intel Mac but without proof who would believe me?

I used VMware workstation for Windows, that thing was awesome. Let me test so much stuff, and the features are so useful. That thing was slow, but it worked just fine. Now, if they released something like that for Mac, Parallels will have some stiff competition. But Parallels should still beat VMware in the price point, VMware isn't that cheap after all.

Seriously, if you're THAT cheap I'm surprised you're not joining the Win PC fanboys in saying "Macs are overpriced junk". Seriously, you have to buy your OWN storage space so why do you think Apple would give you theirs for free?? They're a business, not a charity.
If you wanna use the service, pay for it. If you're not interested then don't. But don't start complaining Apple is charging a ridiculously small amount for using THEIR hard drives. It might by called "the cloud" but your data is still stored somewhere, and that somewhere is on Apple's servers. They weren't free for them, so why the hell should they be free for you?
Oh, also, if you're so cheap why not sell your shiny Macs and use the money to buy yourself TWO Win PCs. That way your precious money goes further.

Just ordered Parallels Desktop just now .. I'm more than eager to get a hand on the VMware too. I'm currently running VMware on my Linux machine ..

Maybe the iPhone 4 looking iPhone 5 will come out as a 4S and something like this will be the iPhone 5...? It does look pretty good, but not sure if it could really be made this thin as the A5 chip is just as power consuming as the A4 (as has been stated). If that actually is what the iPhone 5 will look like, I'll buy it for sure.

I'm done using the Mouse. I love my new set up with Apple Wireless Keyboard and Magic TrackPad.
I also picked up glee (Season One) on BD. :cool:
I also think the trackpad is better than the mouse.

Watch them not have a white iphone 5. The main reason I waited on getting the iphone 4 was I wanted a white version. Hindsight being what it is... well actually I'm not sure I made the right decision, I think the white 3GS looks better. And at this stage, I'll see what at&t does this summer/fall with my unlimited plan and the new iphone 5 whenever it comes out. I doubt I'd jump ship to an android but I'll keep my options open.

It's not a bug.
You had to manually tick a box which counted Home Sharing play counts on the iTunes overall one.
Even with it ticked it still doesn't update play counts. That's where the bug is.
Tried it on OS X and Windows and still doesn't work. I've heard it works fine from computers and Apple TV but on devices it doesn't even though it's suppose to.
EDIT: Got a post over on the official Apple forums discussing it and it has a lot of replies of people reporting the exact same thing. I haven't even found a single person who has said it works.

Guys, I have been at Brea on Monday and i was in the line nd they said they dont have any iPads in that days shipment. Then i went there today and they said they handed out tickets. So out of desperation i am planning to go there at 6 am and wait in the line tomorrow at Brea. Does anyone knw how many tickets did they hand out today and will camping out before the store opens tomorrow in Brea bring me any luck?

Seeing as I did not get the version I wanted, I will also be joining you at Brea around 6:00AM! 32GB Black Wifi here I come!!!!! :D

I've had a look in their 'seven times faster' stuff -- what's the point of comparing a CD 2.16 to C2D 2.33? Apart from that, assuming that it wouldn't spit flames through the vents or sound like a Harrier at take off, I intend to buy one.

The current Apple TV is a great product at a great price. They just need to expand on it by adding more features and more capability. Open it up for apps, especially when combined with an iPod Touch, iPad, iPhone and you could have an amazing product.

my fear is the democrats will try to use this a political gain and that is so very wrong both to the military and for this good event.
It turns a great event into worthless BS. It was just luck of the draw that a Dem was in power when this happen and it was only a matter of time. I already am watching some people try to turn it into political gain and it makes me sick.
